My First Skates
We brought Gavin to McKie's, the biggest hockey store in CNY. He was in awe of all the hockey things. We bit the bullet and got him his first pair of Bauer Hockey Skates. They are the cutest things ever. He is very proud of them, and we are so happy he has our love for sports.

Zoo Favs
We brought our new camera to the zoo today and got some great shots!
We love going to the zoo in the winter. The animals are all out and are a lot of fun to see. Their favorites by far are the wolves, the snow leopard, the snakes (yikes for me), the meerkats, the penguins, and the bears. The elephants tend to hang out inside in the balmy 10-20 degrees, so they are a miss in the winter. But besides them, the zoo is a hit regardless of the weather. The lack of people is also a huge plus for our crazy children.
The kids are hilarious at the zoo as we must follow the exact routine every time. Wonder where they get it from? :-) When an animal is out and doing something funny their belly laughs are priceless.
