Daddy's Friends
Daddy's best friends from high school came up to visit today from North Carolina. Jesse, Daddy's friend, is getting married today and Daddy couldn't be in the wedding because we have a new baby. Luckily, Jason flew Jesse up here to see Daddy and to go to an SU bball game for his "Bachelor weekend"
Here I am getting ready for them to come. Look at my new hockey jersey! I love it...thank you Cousins Donna and Chris!
Here they are! Diff, Jesse, me, Daddy and Jake

Best of luck Jesse! Congrats!

Baby's Here
Jacob Dean Johnston has arrived. Mommy was induced on the morning of the 19th and nothing much happened. At 6:30 pm her body decided it was time to have the baby, and she went from nothing to ready to push in 5 1/2 hours! I was born today, the 20th, at 12:34 am. I weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. Mommy and I (and Daddy) are doing wonderfully!

Shopping...for a Tree?
Today we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house because Mommy had another doctor appointment (no baby yet...) and we decided to stay for the day and go Christmas Tree shopping then to Uncle Patrick's hockey game. We went to a Tree Farm in Jordan, NY. I heard farm and was immediately excited to see cows and piggies, but to my dismay, it was freezing cold and all there was were trees that all looked the same to me.
Here I am being forced out of my warm car where I was enjoying Shrek on our new DVD player in our new car.
Okay, not so bad inside. Sitting on a sleigh with Grandma.
First, we looked at the trees that were already cut. This one was nice. But Grandpa wanted bigger
Well, we liked this precut one too...again, Grandpa wanted bigger
Okay, so if you look closely here you see Grandpa cutting down the tree of his choice!

Grandpa pulling the tree down the hill
The family by the tree

Me and Mommy trying to get warm by the fire. However, Mommy was not cold at all because of the huge jacket she had on. She has been complaining for a few weeks about how none of her coats fit. Daddy told her to "lay off the ice cream" whatever that means. I never see her eat any! Grandma made her wear Uncle Patrick's huge Army coat to the tree farm.

Then, because I was so good, my Grandparents took me out to lunch at the Red and White Cafe in Elbridge. For some reason, this sign made all the adults laugh. I don't see whats wrong with giving little kids puppies. Guess I just need to be unattended, but knowing my Mommy, that won't happen.

Yummy!
I got to have my favorite food today for breakfast....Blueberry Pancakes!
I love blueberries!
Look at my teeth in the back!! Boy did those hurt!
Even my hands were blue! Mommy laughed and laughed, until she tried to clean it off. I may have blue tinted hands for a couple of days. Oh well, it was well worth it!

"Mommy, please make them again tomorrow!"

Christmas Party #1, and first attempt with Santa this year
Here I am having a great time with Daddy (even with the scrape on my noes and forehead...see post below)
Then I was reintroduced to Santa.
***(He loved him last year, but this year, this was the reaction)***
Then his bff, Christian, had a similar reaction
But Christian's brother, Cameron, handled it just fine!
