KidzClub

Today we went to KidzClub. I love this place! They have train tables, huge swing sets, stores, a stage, and tons of pretend places!

Here I am with my favorite thing right now, train tables.
Daddy showing off his skills to 2 year olds.
Bubbles!
Shopping for candy
Mommy couldn't believe it, but I climbed this thing all by myself. She was very nervous watching me.

The Waiting Game

We had Grandma come over for dinner on Wednesday night because Uncle Patrick had a lacrosse game near our house. I was so excited for her to come. We have been cooped up inside all week and I have not had any playdates. Mommy was sick and then poor Jakey got sick. Not to mention we also had 3 doctors appointments this week.

Easter Pics

Mommy hasn't been feeling well, so these pictures are late coming. We had a good Easter. The Easter Bunny came to our house and left Gavin and Jake some great books, fun soaps, puzzles, play dough, plastic eggs, rings, and some candy! Then we went to the Sunset in Auburn for Brunch with Grandma Emmer and Uncle Patrick (Grandpa was still in VA). Then we went to visit Aunt Mary Ellen, Uncle Don, Cousin Meg, and Doggie Zack. Lastly, we had Easter Dinner at Grandma's house with Uncle Robert and Uncle Michael and Grandpa!

Hop Hop Hop! Isn't that the cutest bunny you have ever seen? And look how nicely "it" poses for the camera!

Daddy and I playing with my new puzzle that the bunny brought me! My attempt at finding Easter Eggs that Uncle Patrick hid for me. All I did was throw them! So much for putting them into the nice baskets Mommy and Grandma got me.
Daddy and Jakey...shouldn't Jake be sleeping Daddy?

Grandpa's on TV

Today we got to watch Grandpa, "Papa Jack", on ESPN. He was the color commentator for the Hopkins-UVA lacrosse game that was held in Charlottesville, VA. We, though very biased, thought he did a great job!

This is a picture of the TV with Grandpa on it. We have no idea why there is a line through it.

Yeah Grandpa!
Gavin clapping for Grandpa!
"Papa, are you in there?"
Jake too was very surprised to hear that his Grandpa was in, I mean on, the TV.
Sorry we won't be able to listen to the biggest game of the year coming up, Army-Navy, Grandpa, we'll be at the game instead! But, we are sure you'll be fabulous!

March 20, 2008

Though its been 13 weeks since I was born, I am officially 3 months old today. In 3 months I have accomplished a lot, mostly completely wrapping my Mommy and Daddy around my finger. My brother, Gavin, at the beginning was wondering when I was leaving, but he has realized that I am here to stay. My days consist of sleeping (a lot), eating, playing on my mat, bouncing in my bouncy seat, swinging in my swing, and my favorite of all...getting my diaper changed. I love the changing table! I sleep through the night. I have rolled over 3 times. Once from back to belly and twice from belly to back. I can grab my rattle, laugh, and smile! And boy, do I have eyes for my Mommy...I can spot her anywhere! I have also been to many hockey games, lacrosse games, the mall, Wegmans, the YMCA, many playdates, and out to eat. I can't wait to see whats in store for me in my next 3 months!

Notice the blond hair coming through...looks like another Daddy clone!

He's Baaack!

I am feeling much better today! My fever is gone, and my appetite is back! I am still a little stuffed up and sleepy, but I am back to playing, climbing, and running all over!

St. Patty's Day

Unfortunately, we did not get to take part in any festivities today. Gavin has been sick since yesterday morning with a temperature above 102. However, as soon as Grandma was on her way over, his fever broke, and our little guy returned to normal. So, maybe tonight we will have some green eggs or something! After having a sick boy for 2 days Mommy and Daddy might celebrate St. Patty's day with a Guinness!

Here is Gav this morning....sooooo pitiful

But, here's our Jakey...still smiling!
Hopefully you all celebrated for us!

P.S. Thank you Grandma for the fun pop up books, the soups, the dinner, but mainly for helping us! Hope you enjoyed our walk as much as we did!

Army Hockey Game

Today we went to the Army-Mercyhurst Hockey game in Rochester. Although Army did not win, we had a great time visiting with the Ryan's. The Ryan's are long time best friends of the Emmer Family. Here is Bede holding Jakey.

This is why we came...to root on Army, mainly #17 Will Ryan.
Here I am with my RIT noise makers. They were playing in the second semi final against Air Force. We were rooting for Air Force though, and they did win! I just liked the noise makers. Thank you Daddy for getting them for me!
Jakey, at his first Army Hockey Game. Tons of fans thought he was so cute and thought this was his first hockey game..ha ha ha...little do they know! This is like game #15!!!
