Updates
Sorry we haven't been great at keeping up with the blogging. The boys are doing very well. Gavin, after much hesitation from Mommy and Daddy not thinking he was ready, was potty trained in a matter of days. We are so loving that and are happily surprised at how easy it was. Mommy was even prepared with books to read for advice! Gavin is a very picky eater and we are often found catering to him. But we are getting better at handling it and he is beginning to realize that what is in front of him is what he has to eat. He does have some favs though: blueberries, french fries, wagon wheel pasta, broccoli and lettuce.
Jake is doing well. He is our dare devil in the family and is often found doing things he shouldn't be. He will do the things and at the same time be saying, "No, No Jake." He is very vocal and is picking up vocabulary very quickly. We are in awe of his love for is big brother but realizing quickly that he has learned way to many things from him already. Luckily, one of those things is the potty and yes, we are slowly preparing Jake for the training, maybe this summer. Jake is also our big eater, and he would eat all day if we let him. His favorites-bananas, ham, pears, and turkey hot dogs.
Both boys are also picking up their family's love of sports. Their lives so far have been filled with high school hockey and lacrosse games, Army lacrosse games and our love of ESPN. Seriously, they both know how to scoop with 2 hands and cradle to the goal. And neither boy will go to bed at night without their lacrosse stick and hockey stick. We couldn't be prouder.
We are so blessed to have 2 wonderful boys! I promise to get better at updating the blog!
PS..they also can say "Army, YEAH! Navy, booo!"
