Dinner Date

In what is becoming a normal Sunday night event, we went over to our friends The White's house for dinner. Great people, food, drink and kids! What more can you ask for! Gavin and Kenzie have been friends from the beginning but tonight they actually played together. It was very nice to see them not just parallel playing (meaning playing near each other, not actually together) they were playing with each other and communicating. Our little guy is growing up.

New Johnston House

Here are a few images of our new house in Elbridge. It was built around the 1890's, but has been completely updated. The outside maintains the character of the time period and we just adore it.


The country like kitchen. The pantry off to the left (old fashion blue door) I sware is the size of my kitchen now, so I'm totally loving that. The door in the back leads to a deck and the pool, and the door to the right leads to the mudroom entrance. All I can say is, who's coming over for the wallpaper removing party??

We had our inspection of the house today and it passed with flying colors. The previous owners put on a new roof, new furnance, new hot water heater, new insulation, new driveway, etc.... its ready to be lived in! And our old house passed it's inspection yesterday. We expect our POD to be delievered this week to begin the fun process of packing boxes.

Papa and Grandma

Papa Jack has been gone most of the summer, so I was so happy to see him this past week at Simmon's League Lacrosse. Most recently he was in Helsinki, Finland for the European Lacrosse Championship. He will be running the next World Championship in 2010 in Manchester, England. Mommy and Daddy said we all get to go! Better get our passports ready! Can't wait!

Hey All...

Again, we have not been diligent with the website. But again, we have a big reason. We sold our house after 2 days on the market..higher than we asked for! And...we bought a new house!! We fell in love with a large, country like home in Elbridge, NY. It makes my drive to work much shorter, the drive to my parents in Skan town much shorter, and Aaron's drive to his new job much shorter! Its also a small school district (which we really want since both Aaron and I grew up in one) that has good lacrosse for the boys. The house is with in walking distance to the town, school, library, etc. Its very big so we have room for tons of guests...come visit us! We'd love to have ya. Pictures of boys, house, etc to come soon.

Penguin Palooza

We enjoyed our night at the zoo for Penguin Palooza. The penguin has become one of Gavin's favorite animals. He loves them. We went to the zoo with our friends (and neighbors) the White's.
